LIN Pei-Yao, born in 1998, is an artist from Taichung, Taiwan, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Fine Arts at Taipei  National University of the Arts. Her works primarily focus on video and spatial installations. They often revolve around a core theme of a fragmented and dualistic state, transforming the abstract variations of perceptual states into repetitive and mutable conscious spaces within the imagery. Her art delves into the multifaceted timelines and the ever-shifting relationship between the body and self-perception.

Her recent works explore the intimacy, detachment, connection and rupture of bodily perceptions, as well as the immersive and dissociative experiences within image spectatorship. She engages in a creative exploration that investigates the disparities and gaps between the body, media and image, aiming to create an ethereal perceptual experience such as fantasy, which mixed with materiality and information.
