Road Movie: A Trip to the Moon

In this scene, only the 3D printer exists physically. The model of the “road” initially resides in my mind and on my computer before being printed out as a tangible object, and eventually transformed into an image. The printer appears to function as a mental machine, continuously shuttling back and forth, repeatedly stacking consciousness.
Ultimately, the “road” produced by the printer seems to extend to the moon, or perhaps it never does. Following the “trip to the moon” by George Méliès and Neil Armstrong, even if the body remains still and merely beholds, this journey constitutes the sculpting of the mental process, the creation of consciousness about the world. Through imagination, I maintain my distance but still reach the moon, remotely.
